During the Glyndebourne 2011-2025 festivals Julian created a painting for each day of the season following on from his time spent as 'Artist in Residence' in 2011. This practice continues in 2026.
This followed his 'Sussex 365' project which was shown at Glyndebourne in October 2010 and featured 200 paintings of the Sussex landscape, coastline and urban areas.
Glyndebourne Festival 2026 runs between 21 May and 30 August.
